After being widowed, Billie thinks she understands loneliness. She’s an outsider in her late husband’s small mountain town, looked upon by the locals with wariness and pity—with the exception of her best friend, Emma. It’s Emma who has kept her tethered to the world since her loss, forcing her to find the motivation to keep living.

As the anniversary of her husband’s death approaches, Emma vanishes without a trace, casting Billie adrift.

In her search for answers, she finds herself alone in a terrifying revelation: faeries are real, and they are wreaking havoc on the mountain valley. Worse still, she manages to offend a surly fae herbalist, landing herself in a bitter bargain: complete three tasks for him or face a worse punishment at the hands of his kin.

Caught between fear and desperation, Billie has only one option: to wade deeper into the world of the fae to find her missing friend, risking everything in the process.

Book Two

Billie never imagined that her discovery of the fae would be the least of her life’s surprises. Barely holding it together after her desperate search for her best friend, Emma, she’s floored by the presence of a certain important figure in the Seelie court.

Despite all that she has done to secure Emma’s safety, she learns that they are still in peril. The politics of the fae courts are tumultuous, and violence is spilling over into the mountain valley. The Seelie king is struggling to keep his grasp on the court as a battle for inheritance turns into a blood feud between the two courts.

Desperate to protect the innocent and unsuspecting humans in her small town, Billie becomes embroiled in a plan that forces her to marry the king of a court that would rather see her dead. Torn between lingering loyalties and her blossoming feelings for Callum, Billie is pulled ever deeper into the dangerous world of the fae.

Book Three

Just as tensions seem to have finally settled in her mountain valley, Billie’s world is shattered by a message from her estranged brother—her grandmother has passed away, leaving behind nothing but a mysterious iron key.

The fleeting tranquility in the valley is further disrupted by ominous news: the Court of the Enshrined, comprising the oldest and most enigmatic fae, have set their sights on her valley. Desperate to avert calamity, Billie orchestrates a tournament, banking on the rules of hospitality to keep the Court of the Enshrined from striking out.

All the while, Billie finds herself sleepwalking nightly through the moonlit woods, left vulnerable by the secrets of her grandmother’s legacy at a time when the forest has never been more filled with danger.
